Introduction

ABOUT BHARTIYA LEGAL SUPPORT FOUNDATION IS NEW NAME OF BHARTIYA SOCIETY FOR SOCIO- ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN GLOBAL ARENA.

It is a non- profit making organisation registered under the Indian Trust Act, 1822.

Indians around the world have carved a niche for themselves in their respective fields. We are spread to a myriad of places across the globe in spite of which we have a deep- rooted sense of belongingness for India. Indians globally have a steadfast bond of love for their motherland which unfortunately is either not recognized or not paid its due importance.

NRIs who want to have a need and desire to maintain links with the motherland are kept at bay owing to legal problems, lack of representation and lack of appropriate counselling. We, therefore, have made it our primary objective to unite and gather the influence of NRIs/ PIOs & represent them before the Government of India and to any other bodies that may be required. It has been a general observation that NRIs/ PIOs have a great affinity, attachment and feeling for their country and countrymen but they do not find any appropriate media or active body which provides effective assistance to strengthen this bond of love. They also require a common platform that bind them, give them a stronger voice and a strong common platform.
We therefore have come forward to fulfil this need by offering our NRIs/PIOs docility with membership and desire services. Bhartiya Legal Foundation is determined and looking forward to unite and represent all issues concerning its NRI/ PIO members for the advantage of the community and raise them before the concerned authorities.

It is recognized that NRIs/ PIOs constitute a major force globally and are contributing a lot towards the growth of the country in many ways by means of investments into real estate and other business projects, huge personal foreign exchange remittances or other ways. India in the last decade has opened its economy and has emerged as one hardworking, inexpensive and well-trained English-Speaking country. The whole world is now focusing towards India for their investments. Financial returns in Indian markets are also proving more attractive as compared to other parts of the globe.

Indians have strong footing all across the world and have got their sense of belongingness and sincerity towards the country where they live. We also like to keep our roots intact by way of real estate and having property in India for multiple reasons such as to cater to safety and security in any eventually, residential property, higher business returns, etc. Indians seek connectivity to the motherland as necessary and desirable for any time of crisis.

Unfortunately, very little genuine help, guidance is provided to NRIs/ PIOs in return to their contributions, which discourages and restricts the growth of investment in the country of origin. Even for their legal issues or disputes in India, they are not properly looked after & are also charged exorbitantly. Bhartiya Legal Support Foundation will offer the NRI/ PIO members all the required legal opinion, investment advices, guidance and help through its contact of “ASC Solicitors and Advocates”.

The long years of practice has enabled Mr. Sinha to interact with many sections of the society and get exposed to various legal and commercial facts of employer- employee relationship, finance and financial system, bureaucracy, political systems, voluntary sector such as NGO etc.

Mr. Sinha felt that he should use the potential and energies of his learning and experience towards the growth and prosperity of India. He realized that we are a gifted country that has a multitude of natural resources: our human potential through needs to be deployed better to make good use of all these natural resources. This he felt is not properly and adequately utilized, probably because of the lack of sufficient financial resources and an organized system.

Mr. Sinha realized that the potential of human resources in India is extremely valuable and comparable. In his experience of dealing with various small, medium and large sized companies and their labour and personal legal issues; he felt the need of simplifying law and to create more employment for the balance of power between employer and employee.

He always realized that generating more employment would enable workforce of this country to not have to run for a job and accept all reasonable and unreasonable terms of employer. Additionally, employers would also not like to lose experiences and good workers. This he saw as a mutual balance which because of the lack of job opportunities has disturbed equilibrium.

The result of lack of opportunity for workforce is protectionist government policies, complicated laws, unrest and low productivity. For healthy business growth, healthy competition is required. Over- protection makes a man slow, lazy, non- productive and devoid of spirit of accepting challenges. The need therefore is to stop promoting an adverse activities to growth cycles.

The only way to promote good and healthy competition is to create employment through investments and bring in new business opportunities and establishments besides other social services., therefore, Mr. Sinha laid down the foundations of Bhartiya Legal Support Foundation.

Bhartiya Legal Support Foundation took an initiative to organize very high level national and international conferences and publication of magazines Eyelid- Global India to achieve these objectives through the extensive business and personal network and contacts of Mr. Alok Sinha.

As a priority, Mr. Sinha wanted to cater to the two weaker sections of the society old people and children. He observed that a large number of the social sector organizations, NGOs and other charitable organizations are concentrating more on children as compared to the old people. Mr. Sinha saw the flip side of the coin and realized that though children grow up and become stronger but old aged person become weaker and feeble day by day. Senior citizens would thus need ever expanding attention and care so that they can live better and happier for the rest of their life. He therefore chose to focus on support old age homes through his resources and those of like-minded individuals are willing to support old aged people.
